Students who enter QUT via the Oodgeroo Unit or the Q-Step program can access a range of support services offered by QUT. Support services are available to all students who do not identify as members of an equity target group, but are members of the Student Guild. These include: Student Services - Faculty Level These services are provided in addition to support offered by the Equity Project Officer, the Low Income Officer, the Discrimination Contact Officers and the members of the Equity Committee.
  • The Text Book Loans Scheme: is available for low income students experiencing difficulty purchasing texts and resources. TBLS currently operates for limited subjects only, and books are allocated to those most in need (particularly when demand surpasses supply). The TBLS application form can also be collected from Student Affairs in A Block. and returned to the same office once completed. Conditions apply.
